The men and women of the Royal Army Physical Training Corps keep the British Army “Fighting Fit and Fit to Fight”. Each of its members is a physical training instructor and they are attached to most units of the British Army as well as at training centres.
RAPTC Instructors are responsible for ensuring that soldiers maintain the physical fitness necessary for engaging in military operations. This is carried out through direct instruction as well as training others to become instructors. RAPTCIs also specialise in Adventurous Training and Exercise Rehabilitation; teaching soldiers to succeed in extreme environments and helping them come back from injury even stronger than before.
