Accreditation & Networks

The RAPTC Museum is a registered charity, number 272116 and is fully accredited by Arts Council England. The Accreditation scheme is the UK industry standard for museums and galleries and ensures best practice in museum management, care for the collection and user engagement.

As an independent museum, the RAPTC Museum recognises the importance of working in partnership with other organisations, both as a member of wider networks and on an individual basis. It is part of the Army Museums Ogilby Trust group of military museums and is a member of the Association of Independent Museums. It also belongs to the Corps Museums Network and Hampshire Military Museums Network.

These contacts and partnerships provide opportunities and resources which better enable the Museum to meet its objectives in telling the on-going story of the RAPTC.
